Cook time: 10 minutes

Total time: 20 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 ½ teaspoons of Jen’s Blend Gourmet Salt and Pepper

  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

  • Fresh herbs, chopped (for garnish)

  • For extra flavor add a little garlic powder, paprika, and red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place a cast iron skillet on the grill to preheat as well.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using) until evenly coated.

  3. Place the seasoned shrimp in the preheated cast iron skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

  4. Remove the skillet from the grill and transfer the cooked shrimp to a serving platter. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and garnish with chopped herbs.

  5. Serve immediately with additional lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy your delicious grilled salt and pepper shrimp cooked in a cast iron skillet!

Note: You can also cook this recipe indoors on your stovetop over medium-high heat. Just follow the same instructions, but use a stove instead of a grill.
