Strawberry Gin + Tonic

Ingredients

• 2 oz gin (choose your favorite)
• 4-6 fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
• 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
• 1 sugar cube or 1/2 oz simple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
• Tonic water, top off
• Ice cubes
• 5-6 Fresh basil or mint leaves to use and for garnish

Instructions

1. Muddle 3-4 halved strawberries, lime juice, sugar or syrup, and 4-5 herb leaves in a shaker or large glass to release their juice and flavor.
2. Add the gin and stir.
3. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
4. Top up with tonic water and gently stir to combine.
5. Garnish with the remaining strawberry and a sprig of fresh mint or basil leaf.
6. Enjoy your refreshing Strawberry G+T Twist!
