Classic Paloma

With the classic Paloma, you don't need to be a pro to enjoy it - pour all of your desired ingredients into an icy highball glass and get ready for ultimate refreshment.

Ingredients

• 2 ounces tequila, we recommend Blanco; another option is Mezcal for a smokey flavor
• 2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
• 1-2 ounces sparkling water
• ½ ounce lime juice
• ¼ ounce agave nectar or simple syrup or 1 teaspoon of sugar
• Coarse sea salt, to rim the glasses
• Grapefruit wedges, for rimmer and garnish
• Ice

Instructions

1. Pour some kosher salt into a small dish or plate.
2. Rub the rim of collins or highball glass with a grapefruit wedge; dip the edge of the glass in salt.
3. Combine grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave, syrup, or sugar in a glass; stir until sugar is dissolved.
4. Stir in tequila or mezcal, add ice, and top off with club soda.
5. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
